iDollators - Pygmalion in the 21st Century?
Good evening to all, I apologize for the long delay.....hmmm really long (a year infact). Things have been crazy in my personal life. I have found out that living in Utah is not the best decision I have ever made. I have also found that the Goth scene has gone one direction as I have gone another. The Emo era has arrived and I have found more Goth mags on Emo bands than ever before. I have also found Compilation CDs with Emo (or at least sounding) as well. I have been able to hang onto the true Goth sound in my heart and it has been harder and harder to find an original band in a while. I left this page going in hopes to some day come back to it and update it with fresh groups. Unfortunately the true sound has died and /or the original sounding artist have faded into the wood work. Where do I go from here....? I don't know. I am going to hit my 40's soon and the music I love is becoming a collection of classic sounds. I don't want to have this webpage turn into a past greats only. I have found just a hand full of bands that have been able to carry the true Gothic torch (and HIM is not one of them). If Goth has chosen this path, then I say, "Good bye old friend. We had good times together and I hope the best for you." And we walk our seperate ways into the unkown.......
